| Now that the abomination that is IB HL History is now over... I feel strangely empty. I came across my EE (ughh) last night and read it. ahahaha... strangely it was quite interesting. Although reading it was kinda painful since I saw typos and sentences that needed rephrasing... and the overworked IB student in me wanted to correct that. Only of course it's been sent to the examiner and they've probably already circled those with a big red pen.
Well, the lack of the 'fear of history' is making me lazy, and I haven't looked over the music stuff for our class after Chinese... You know my nerdiness extends to all spheres of life... I wasn't sure about the exact amount I had to pay for those making-up-for-the-uselessness-of-actual-teacher-music-lessons, so I was gonna ask my parents to write me a blank check, when suddenly I couldn't stop myself from briefing my mom about the 'blank check' that Germany gave to Austria-Hungary and how this weighs the blame heavily in Germany's direction...
In the end my dad had a smarter solution. He wrote me a check for 1000$ and then gave me some cash. ahahaha my dad is a natural when it comes to this type of thing. Maybe that's why he's so worried about me going to uni by myself.
hrm. Chinese tomorrow... you know, having an easy freegiveaway subject is a stress in itself. it'll be such a pain if you don't do well. as;lkdnga;lksdhg nothing is easy. but, I must say it was easy to make this album. (some time ago) http://www.dotphoto.com/FlashTool/MemViewShow.asp?SID=82869

| Conversation between mom, bro, and me.
We ate dinner outside, and I said I'd come home first to finish bio lab
report. On the way home, I bought some cheap fake Bee cards at a cheap
place. But when I got home, I realised that I'd forgotten my keys.
After waiting for them to get home...
Mom: What'd you do with your time? Did you go out again?
Me: Yeah.
[Mom sees the cards]
Mom: Hey, you bought those? I was thinking about getting them.
Me: Oh, they were the 5 for 2 ones at 'the cheap store' right?
[Feels the box]
Mom: The box feels cheap.
[I open it and take out the cards]
Me: How bout the cards?
[Mom feels the cards]
Mom: Ugh, cheap! Not worth it.
Me: But for $5 you couldn't get a quarter of a Bee pack.
Mom: Yeah but airline packs are for free.
Me: Yeah but the quality is just as good, and how often do you ride on planes?
David: But the plane ones are still free so it's more worth it.
Me: Yeah but you'd have to buy the airline ticket for a few thousand dollars in the first place before you can get them.
David: But if you get the ticket for free then you'd get the cards free too.
Me: Yeah, but how do you get a ticket for free? Unless family or
friends give it to you, then you'd probably have bought a raffle
ticket, and those regularly cost $10!
[Pause. David says nothing. Then my mom bursts out laughing and I do too.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer? 70 songs, 227.5MB [very little I know, new computer =)]
2. The last CD you bought? It was actually a pack of 5 - Collection of Ruggiero Ricci recordings. Including Paganini's Caprices, Tzigane, Carmen Fantasie, Zigeunerweisen, Havanaise, Introduction and Rondo Cappricioso, Symphonie Espagnole, and Hindemith Sonatas - to name my faves. Lots of violin music if you don't know what I'm talking about.

4. Write down five songs that you often listen to or that mean a lot to you. 6 feet from the edge: Creed Tzigane: Ravel, Shaham Nigum - Baal Shem: Bloch, Grumiax La Campanella: Paganini, Accardo Zigeunerweisen: Sarasate, Ricci
5. Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and why Hmm can I break the rule and let anyone who wants to take the stick take it? | | |
